At UCR, clearly defined workplace policies are a vital component of our campus as they not only provide clarity and structure, but also fosters an inclusive, productive and harmonious work environment.

Our university polices will define the acceptable standards of behaviour and serve as a point of reference for various issues.

Personnel Policies for Staff Members

(PPSM) delineates the employment relationship between staff members and the University of California. These policies describe certain rights, benefits and expectations which encourage professionalism, service and contribution.

UCR Policies and Procedures

In accordance with UCR Campus Policy Number: 350-11, Human Resources (HR) will utilize HR News and ScotMemos to communicate proposed new policies and changes to existing University of California, Office of the President (UCOP) and University of California, Riverside (UCR) policies. Proposed and actual changes will also be posted on the HR website.

Please note: UC Policy documents are linked to the UCOP Policy websitetherefore changes will be reflected on the UCR HR website when the official documents are uploaded by UCOP.

Union-Represented Employees
