Faculty Staff and Wellness Program
Empower your well-being potential — Thrive with UC Riverside’s Wellness Program
The UCR Faculty & Staff Wellness Program focuses on promoting awareness and education, motivation for positive behavior changes, and influencing campus practices and policy to support a healthy environment. The program was created to encourage all of the campus community to live healthier lifestyles and create a culture of health throughout the campus.
6 Pillars of Health
UCR prioritizes the health and quality of life of the campus community and through the 6 Pillars of Health, the Faculty & Staff Wellness Program offers resources and expertise to support a healthy and high performing workforce. These 6 pillars include prevention programs and resources to address any health conditions.
Okanagan Charter
The Okanagan Charter is an International Charter for Health Promoting Universities and Colleges, which calls on post-secondary schools to embed health into all aspects of campus culture and to lead health promotion action and collaboration locally and globally. This charter provides a vision, purpose, and responsibility for our work with UCR Healthy Campus. UCR was the 28th US institution to adopt this charter and making a pledge to be a health-promoting campus for students, staff, faculty, and our community at large.
