Good Mental and Emotional Well-Being means being emotionally resilient, self-aware, skilled at stress management, and fostering healthy relationships with a positive outlook. It's vital for overall quality of life and can affect physical health. Promoting it involves self-care, seeking support, and building healthy coping strategies.

The Well
The Well is UCR's student well-being and health promotion department, founded in 2009 as part of the campus and UC system-wide Mental Health/Healthier Campus Climate Initiative.
The Well provides Highlanders with training, resources, skill building opportunities, and programming for a variety of topics including mental health, substance use, sexual health, physical activity, nutrition, and general well-being by professional and certified peer health educators. Learn More.
