Community Well-Being
Community well-being relates to satisfaction from connections and involvement in communities, which offer belonging, support, and positive contributions. Career well-being, conversely, centers on work satisfaction, purpose, and personal growth.
Community and career well-being are both crucial for overall life satisfaction, necessitating a balance between personal and professional life. Strategies for enhancing well-being include forming social bonds, pursuing fulfilling careers, and creating a healthy working environment in order to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Here on the UCR campus, the Faculty Staff and Wellness Program collaborates with the UCR Staff Assembly to provide a wealth of opportunities to connect with valuable resources to ensure a satisfying campus experience.
